Gaushala
Gau Sewa and Gau Preservation
Serving and Protecting the Sacred Mother Cow
In our Sanatan Dharma, Gau Mata (Mother Cow) holds a divine place as a symbol of selfless giving, purity, and nourishment. Inspired by these eternal values, our trust is deeply committed to the service, care, and preservation of cows through the establishment of a dedicated Gaushala.
To create a sanctuary of love, respect, and well-being for cows — offering them a life of dignity, care, and protection, in alignment with the principles of Ahimsa (non-violence) and Sanatan compassion.
What We Aim to Do:
Establish and maintain a well-equipped Gaushala with clean shelters, food, medical care, and caretakers.
Provide rescue and refuge to abandoned, injured, or old cows who are no longer useful for commercial purposes.
Ensure a natural, peaceful, and nurturing environment where cows live happily and safely.
Promote organic practices like using cow dung and urine for farming, Ayurvedic preparations, and environmental healing.
Organize awareness programs on Gau Sewa, traditional cow care, and the spiritual importance of the cow in Hindu dharma.

Gau Sewa is Seva to the Divine
In the Vedas, the cow is described as "Kamadhenu" — the wish-fulfilling celestial being. Serving her is considered Mahapunya (great merit). Through this initiative, we invite all devotees to join us in preserving this sacred bond between humanity and Gau Mata.
Our Vision:
A World Where Every Cow is Respected, Protected, and Loved
Our vision is to create a model Gaushala — not just as a shelter, but as a sacred sanctuary where Gau Mata is served with reverence and lives in dignity. We envision a future where:
Cows are not abandoned, but cared for as divine beings.
Gaushalas become centers of spiritual service, sustainability, and community welfare.
The cow regains her central place in Bharatiya culture, economy, and environment.
Through Gau Sewa, we aim to revive the age-old traditions of compassion, coexistence, and dharmic living, in tune with nature and divinity.
Our Values:
Guided by Dharma, Sustained by Seva
Our Gau Sewa mission is built upon the following core values:
Reverence (Shraddha): Honoring cows as sacred beings and symbols of divine motherhood.
Compassion (Karuna): Providing love, care, and shelter to every cow in need.
Service (Seva Bhav): Engaging in selfless action, inspired by devotion and dharma.
Sustainability (Prakriti Sanrakshan): Promoting organic and eco-friendly practices rooted in Gau Sewa.
Preservation (Sanrakshan): Rescuing and rehabilitating cows from neglect, cruelty, and abandonment.
Awareness (Jagran): Educating society about the spiritual, cultural, and ecological importance of Gau Mata.
The Importance of Katha and Satsang in Gaushala
Where Divine Wisdom Meets Compassionate Action
A Gaushala is not just a shelter for cows — it is a sacred space vibrating with purity, non-violence, and spiritual presence. Integrating Katha (spiritual storytelling) and Satsang (holy company) within the Gaushala transforms it into a center of dharma, devotion, and inner awakening.
Why Katha and Satsang Belong in a Gaushala:
- Spiritual Atmosphere: The presence of Gau Mata, revered in scriptures as a symbol of divinity and purity, creates the perfect environment for the flow of sacred knowledge and bhakti (devotion).
- Ancient Tradition: In Sanatan Dharma, many sages and saints performed Katha and Satsang in ashrams and forest hermitages where cows were present. This tradition reflects the belief that cows purify the surroundings, making them ideal for divine discourse.
- Awakening Dharma: Through Katha and Satsang, people understand the spiritual significance of cow protection, leading to deeper reverence and active involvement in Gau Sewa.
- Healing Energy: The gentle presence of cows, combined with the vibrations of mantras and stories from scriptures, creates a healing spiritual energy for the mind and soul.
- Uniting Community: Hosting spiritual gatherings in the Gaushala brings the community together in the spirit of service, devotion, and unity, making the Gaushala a living center of culture and consciousness.
“Where Katha is spoken and Gau Mata is served, Dharma flourishes and blessings multiply.”
